Choosing Wedding Music

Choosing the music of the wedding ceremony is something that the couple must do, not just by the wedding planner. The songs that are going to be played during the event must be picked because of its relevance to the love story of the couple, not because they are popular or they sound elegant in terms of traditional wedding aesthetics.

In choosing the music, the couple must reminisce a bit and think of the songs that in one way or another became a part at one point of their relationship. The songs might be the one that hit when they first date, the one that played when they first danced, the one that he sang to her during an anniversary, the one that she remembers he always sang in his car, the one whose lyrics they both found hilarious, or the one that made both of them sad or happy or romantic or sensual. The songs must be meaningful to the couple, otherwise the wedding ceremony will just play a track of empty songs based only on what traditions dictate.

If possible, the music songs in the wedding must be compiled in one CD and be given as a souvenir to the guests, a collection of songs will render them an acoustic narrative of two persons who met, fell in love, and ended up living together.
